Helvie Collectors Knives
Helvie Collectors Knives are "One of a Kind" Knives that come with a Certificate of Authenticity. It would be extremely rare to find 2 exactly alike since each one is hand crafted to perfection by Rich Smithson. While these knives are beautiful, they are also very functional.
Each collector knife is made of a variety of hard woods and materials.
**A Helvie knife will last you a life time as long as it is cared for properly. Do not leave in a damp environment or drop onto a hard surface.

Collector knife #41 has the roughout style blade; approximately 1 7/8" long, 1/2" wide, and .05" (1.27mm) thick. Handle is a mixed media of hardwoods. Rich Smithson has added his hand wood burning to it; calling it, "The Heartbeat of Helvie."
Collector knife #42 has the roughout style blade; approximately 1 7/8" long, 1/2" wide, and .05" (1.27mm) thick. Handle is made of bubinga with lacewood and bocote inserts and blue/yellow bands.
Collector knife #43 has the roughout style blade; approximately 1 7/8" long, 1/2" wide, and .05" (1.27mm) thick. Handle is made of walnut with black/yellow bands and a black endcap. Nature made this handle very special. With the large knot in it Rich did something different that he's never done before. A little commentary from him, "The knots had big gaps around it so I started to fill it with super glue. I also added some parts of the shop to the knot hole. Sprinkled a little man glitter...aka Pakkawood dust and a little piece of buffing compound." We hope you find it to be just as special as we do.
