The Helvie® Animal Knives come in two blade styles, our roughout 1 3/4" and our detail 1 1/4" blades.

Our roughout blade is approximately 1 3/4" long,  1/2" wide and .05" (1.27mm) thick. Blade is a convex grind.

Our detail blade is is approximately 1 1/4" long, 3/8" wide, and .032" (.81mm) thick. Blade is a scandi grind.

Handles are 5-5 1/2" long and come in a natural wood of our choosing. Rich Smithson wood burns each knife handle by hand. You get a beautiful, functioning wood carving knife, and a piece of art with each one. Each knife will be signed, by Rich Smithson, and numbered in the order that it was made.
